What do Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, Ted Cruz, Tim Scott and Mike Pence have in common? They like to call themselves “alpha males” but none of them had the balls to stand up to the guy who verbally abused and relentlessly mocked them

I hate to rain on today’s much needed joy parade, but do you think the USA is headed for civil war in the near future? It’s increasingly feeling like 2024 is going to be a make or break year and with division at an all time high it feels like there’s going to be complete chaos in the streets even if we avoid crisis at the polls. Like, even though I’m in a “safe state” (for now) I’m seriously considering strategies of fleeing the country, just in case. Don’t know what I’m asking for, help? Reassurance maybe? Advice?
I think my answer to that is... yes but also no, and no but also yes, and yes but also no. Which I realize is not entirely helpful and not as clear as anyone would like, but let me try to explain:
The far-right has always been militant, violent, and prone to apocalyptic and fascist rhetoric. This isn't a new thing in American history, and it's come to the fore at moments of particular stress and division. Trump's presidency obviously gave much-unwanted oxygen to them, right when people were starting to claim that Obama's election meant that America was in a "post-racial era" (LOL), but they themselves are not new. We had the Civil War itself, we had the lynchings and racial terror and Jim Crow/Ku Klux Klan era, we had the Bund (the American Nazis) holding huge public gatherings in the run-up to WWII and enjoying substantial domestic support, etc etc etc. This is all scary and unsettling, and most of us don't have a personal memory of dealing with it before, because we're not old enough. But that doesn't mean it hasn't happened before, and that we haven't survived it.
Let's take yesterday, for instance. Trump spent all week promising fire and death and vengeance and playing literal videos of January 6th at his campaign rally in Waco, Texas (famed as the site of the Waco Siege of 1994; look it up). He insisted his supporters would rain vengeance on anyone who dared to arrest him and otherwise threatened mass-scale disturbances and the other tools of public violence that fascists use to enforce their will. And what happened? It's 12+ hours since the first indictment went through (30 counts of business/document fraud, which is not a piddling charge) and we've had bupkis. We've had a lot of Republican politicians tweeting their performative hypocritical outrage, yes, but we haven't suddenly had the country explode in fire and flame either. I'm sure there have been localized protests, but I haven't heard about major anything. And one set of indictments has gone through, others will be empowered to follow. In a way, I think it's a good thing that non-political crimes went first? Yes, the Republicans are screaming about a political witch hunt because that's literally the only thing they can do, but starting by nabbing Trump for relatively low-level (but still extensive) business fraud and then moving onto the treason sets a pattern and makes it easier to comprehend.
The thing is: Nazis, at heart, are cowards. They like to paint themselves as bold and valiant soldiers fighting for the Right Way of Life, but it's all fantasy, delusion, and cosplay. They were empowered to do January 6th because Trump was literally the sitting president and told them to do it, but that's no longer the case, and they're shit scared of facing anyone who might enforce real consequences on them. (Once again, if you take nothing else from following me: Nazis are punk-ass fucking pissant cowards who think they're tough and are in fact a bunch of asshole morons, the end.) The mantra of "Make Racists Afraid Again" is working, to an extent. Yes, we have hellholes like Missouri, Florida, Texas, and Tennessee where the state GOP is working as hard as they can to enforce the worst and most regressive laws imaginable, but that's still not universal. As I also say a lot, the reason Republicans attack, discredit, and outlaw voting so much is because they can never win a fair election on the merits. Their ideas suck, and on some level they know that. They just care about being cruel, fascist, and stupid, and while that's certainly a troubling and significant minority in America, it's not as big as anyone thinks.
Almost 60% of Americans think both that "woke" is a good thing and the cases against Trump should permanently disqualify him from holding any office again. Yet again: the GOP is in the minority, and that's why they use so many dirty tricks to establish and enforce their power. Also, I can guarantee you that not one of the keyboard warriors fulminating about how The Democrat Party Is Being So Mean To President Trump is ever going to actually go out and start an actual civil war. They have established interests, money, benefits from the system, and they don't want to overturn that. They want the masses angry and stupid, yes, but they want them angry and stupid in support of keeping discriminatory structures and systems in place. That can't work if there are no systems at all. Yes, we will still have white supremacists and fascists committing ongoing individual acts of violence, i.e. school shootings, and it's hard to argue that this doesn't constitute a civil war of some sort, or at least ongoing stochastic terrorism. But while you have people like Marge Two Names Greene out there blabbing about a National Divorce, I can guarantee you that if it ever came to actually DOING it, Marge and Brave Brave Sir Kevin would be nowhere to be found. Again: they want to derive power and money from the operation of an unfair system, not the end of that system. It sucks, but still.
Honestly, I want the Dominion lawsuit to keep going on, and dragging all of Fox News' hypocrisy, deception, and disinformation into the public eye. Fox is the biggest cancer on this country, as is the case with Rupert Murdoch's global disinformation empire overall (when, WHEN will HE fucking die, if we're talking death lottery wishlists?) But the lawsuit and its subsequent publicity has had an effect: a small but significant number of Fox viewers (26%) realized the network was lying to them, and 13% said that they no longer believed the 2020 election was stolen after reading about the Fox efforts to lie about it and then cover up their lies. So while the right-wing media bubble is huge and terrible, it's also not impenetrable, and taking Fox down/substantially discrediting it would have a major effect on the pay-for-play misinformation media sphere.
This is getting long, so let me try to sum up: the far-right advocating separatist fantasies of violence/war/fascist domination is not new, and has been a thing in American history for as long as there has been America. But at least in the current moment, it is not the majority, it is not widely popular, it will never be embraced by ordinary mainstream Americans and not just the insane cultists, its so-called devoted soldiers yell on Twitter and cable news and will never once be spotted actually fighting for it, and it's the cynical last gasp of a hate movement that is seeing its institutional and generational hold on America (and the world) finally on the brink of permanently shifting. So of course it's trying to make itself look as big and scary as possible, like any wounded animal, but it's on the back foot, and we have a chance to really kill it. Not permanently or forever, since that's the nature of human history, but at least for now and buy us some more time, and despite everything, I remain cautiously optimistic about our likelihood of doing so. I know it's scary, I know it's awful, I know it feels overwhelming, but it is still not winning, and it won't. As long as we do our part.
Hugs. Hang in there.

“Today showed that the GOP is nothing but a group of cowards,” said Adah Crandall, an 18-year-old Sunrise Movement organizer, in an emailed statement. “They chose to arrest a bunch of teenagers instead of facing us. They would rather shut down the government than do their jobs and protect our generation.” The activists, who traveled from across the country to attend the protest, held signs that read: “Climate action not shutdown”, “The GOP hates Gen Z” and “McCarthy: Aren’t you ashamed”. ... The US has two months until the end of 2023’s Atlantic hurricane season, which national forecasters have predicted will be especially harsh. A shutdown could force Fema to respond to coming hurricanes with an unpaid Washington staff. ... The Sunrise Movement is also demanding no cuts to the implementation of Inflation Reduction Act programs – something Biden administration officials are concerned about – and the reinstating of the child tax credit. “McCarthy and Republicans can either do their jobs, act on the climate crisis and fund our schools, or they can risk our economy appease a few extremists,” said Shiva Rajbhandari, 19, a Sunrise organizer. “Our generation is watching and we will hold them accountable for their actions.”

What’s the matter GOP? Are you scared of Taylor Swift? A bunch of snowflakes….. coward snowflakes afraid of a female singer and afraid of people signing up to vote. You’re so transparent GOP… Go away.
Tumblr media
Gop flat out admitting they don’t want young people to vote, tho.
They are even acknowledging she isn’t telling anyone how to vote.
Just telling them to vote makes her bad.

Gop have been doing dog whistle for a long time. Let me remind you all how much of coward they are. they’re sitting comfortably in their chairs and calling for “rise up” and then just let loose a bunch of anarchists to do their dirty bidding.
no self respecting american could give support to that kind of chicken shit. if you want insurrection, then you better call it and say that you’re ready to destroy the constitution. and be ready to go jail for it.
Remember this chicken shit and got people really killed? she belongs in jail that scum.

I mostly agree with you on all that. I just want to point out that there has to be a word that fits it better than terrorism. Any human action or inaction that results in deaths is not terrorism. Trump being a coward which resulted in so many COVID deaths is not terrorism. Some killings are better described as genocide and not terrorism, even though you can say it induces feelings of terror. Any violence does not imply terrorism. A protest that turns violent doesn't mean the protestors become terrorists. Actually that's a good point, so if GOP is terrorism, GOP members are terrorists? Surely there has to be a word that fits them better. I'm just being pedantic.
Well - I’m not a political scientist, so maybe you’re right, but we do know one reason Trump didn’t gaf about the pandemic was because it was hitting (Democratic) cities a lot harder than (Republican) rural areas, and killing a larger numbers of (presumably Democratic) people of colour. I mean we know this for a fact, it was caught on tape or emailed or butt-dialled by Giuliani or something stupid like that, I don’t even remember anymore. So letting these people die was a violent mean to a political end - fewer Democratic voters, more Republicans in power. I would call that an act of terror, to be honest.
As for protests turning violent, again - it depends on what the original purpose was. A bunch of hooligans meeting supporters of the other team and losing their heads, I probably wouldn’t call that terrorism. But we’ve seen a lot of examples over the last few years (decades?) of mostly white people organizing with specific political goals in mind (for instance, intimidating Black voters or harming civil rights demonstrators or preventing the application of federal law when it comes to national parks and stuff); these people had planned to use violence to reach those political goals, and yet they were implicitly or enthusiastically supported by elected (Republican) officials. So again - that, I would call terrorism, and it is usually classified domestic terrorism by law enforcement. Whether associating with these people even once makes you a terrorist or not - I believe it does. When it comes to basic human rights, you can’t say ‘I agree with this group but I don’t approve of them hunting migrants for sport’. Literally wtf? Fascism is not a minor political disagreement, it’s the whole framework your ideology hinges upon. This is why the advocacy of fascism is a crime in countries like Italy (although, the law is not always applied as it should): because you can’t say ‘Yeah Mussolini shouldn’t have killed all those people but’ - there is no but. Fascism is either/or, you either support it or you don’t.

I mean obviously we learned later how truly fucked it really was so even if we got more people to vote the electoral college still fucked everything up ANYWAY
But there was so much voter fraud and disenfranchising people and foreign interference and data manipulation through sites like facebook and 4chan and twitter.
This is why the senate and house seats and local seats are so much more important than the presidential election. Yes the president has a ton of shit that they can do and affect but its supposed to be a balance and an understanding that if the executive office has gone off the fucking rails then its the job of the other branches of government to fire him BUT THEN THE WHOLE TRIAL FOR THAT WAS FUCKED UP AND A JOKE And the GOP are all a bunch of fucking cowards except RANDOMLY Mittens Romney like who the fuck woulda thunkit.
These four years have been a fucking nightmare and its not even over yet like are we even gonna fucking MAKE IT to November??? How fucked up is the election gonna be THEN. Will we still have a post office??? Will we all be dead because some people don’t want to protect themselves from a pandemic that could have been avoided?? or at least contained??? How many cops are gonna kill black and brown and even white protesters before we get there????
Since 2016 I’ve been wondering if we were even gonna make it to 2020′s election and fucking shit I had no idea how bad it would get before then
Sorry just having a mental crisis while watching a reality tv show hahaha HAHAhahaha HAhahaa

You know how “I told you so” isn’t polite? Sanders supporters, warning you about how this is going to be a repeat of 2016, won’t be so civil about it.
Choosing Biden because you find him “electable” is a coward’s out. You’re no better than a conservative. You’re feckless and ball-less. Clearly, you fear change or have that good ol’ #Murican attitude of “I got mine, so fuck the rest of y’all!”
Going back to “normal” is Biden’s only real promise. Normal? You mean, like the era that led up to trump being elected because he was the outsider? You dumb fucks. Seriously. You’re all that fuckin’ STOOPID. Trump won because the nation wanted a radical; an outsider promising change to the nation- someone who was going to clean house. All the polling data back then reflected that Sanders would have kicked trump’s ass, but no... Y’all chose HRC; the woman funding and running the DNC back then. So, we got what we deserved. Now we’re paying for that ignorance, and even I swallowed a bit of pride and voted for her and, not unlike some of you today, I scorned and tried to shame 3rd party voters and those who chose to abstain. Well, I recant all that. I now see the light, and it’s shit-brown.
To defeat a radical like trumpnuts, it’ll take an actual, HONEST radical to counter him. Sanders’ record over decades has been the same. He’s been consistent. He’s been unbought and honest. If that’s not “electable” then I don’t know what the fuck is. Yosemite? You think Sanders didn’t achieve much? Clearly you didn’t bother to do ANY research. You probably heard the word “socialism” in there somewhere and peed yourself. “He’s not a REAL Democrat!” NO SHIT! That’s not the bug, sunshine, that the fuckin’ FEATURE! What has the Democratic Party done for YOU lately?
Has the DNC done ANYTHING to make Election Days holidays so we all get it off from work?
FUCK NO.
Has the DNC been open and vigilant about gerrymandering, exposing those who do it, and made serious attempts at stopping it?
FUCK NO.
Has the DNC been fighting to ensure safe elections?
FUCK NO.
Has the DNC been on top of making sure that there are enough polling stations for everyone in their districts and that they’re not being closed down?
FUCK NO.
Have they been vigilant about making laws to ensure that the minimum wage keeps up with inflation and the cost of living?
FUCK NO.
Where the unholy fuck were all of you sanctimonious motherfuckers during Obama’s tenure? You handed BOTH the House AND Senate to the GOP and fuck-all NOTHING got done. I was at the voting booth. Where the fuck were YOU?
This last election with this “Blue Wave” everyone was ranting about that won the House... AND... What about the Senate??? Nope. Still run by the GOP and they’ve been cock-blocking practically ALL legislation. The Democrats are SO feckless that they’re trying to offer a bill for table scraps during this epidemic while the GOP is offering 4X MORE. Well done, Pelosi- make the GOP look like heroes just so you can keep your own cashflow issues at bay. You jerkoffs couldn’t even do an impeachment right and you only made trump MORE popular because you allowed yourselves to be pushed around and defeated even though you had Rule of Law on your side. What a bunch of useless twats.
NOW you expect us all to just fall in line and back you up and vote for Biden? Screw that and screw you.
Not all of Sanders’ supporters will help you. More of US backed Clinton last time than did HER supporters did Obama- they backed McCain and that twat Palin. We didn’t forget that. Clinton supporters BACKED McCain!!! Did you forget that?
We are also well aware of how you look down your chicken beaks at us and what is going to happen either way here; let’s be real. If, or likely WHEN Biden loses to trump, you’ll blame us. If, by some miracle, Joe DOES win, you won’t mention us at all or give any sort of “thank you, Sanders supporters, for coming on board” and share that victory with us.
Many of us will hold our nose and vote for the turd of a babbling idiot candidate, but admit it; you’re not sure who I’m talking about really, do you- trump or Biden?
Many of us will go and vote downballot and just NOT vote for potus because we’re sick of being force-fed a hot plate of shit by the Democrats who are even right NOW, pushing for we voters to get sick and catch COVID-19 INSTEAD of postponing the primaries a month or so to keep us all safe. They KNOW some of us will get sick and die, but it’s a sacrifice the Democrats are willing to make to keep Joe’s head of steam going and keep a social democrat from recovering and maybe even winning the nomination.
Some of us won’t come out to vote at all for many reasons, but that you and your spineless party lost the faith of the people, and that’s on you and your establishment, bought-and-sold attitudes towards us. The growing numbers of Independents and the shrinking numbers of Democrats is telling, but party politics and cash flow and power are more important than actually fighting to help those you claim to represent. That’s on you, Democratic Party. You’re weak, you’re toothless and you’re spineless. The GOP knows this and so do many of your voters. Like the GOP, you offer nothing but platitudes and condescension, only the GOP will fight like a schoolyard bully to get what they want you and just sit around in your civil circle-jerks, sipping tea while you tell each other how great you are.
We Sanders supporters are also well aware that if things come down to it being a brokered convention that the ‘superdelegates’ have ALREADY vowed to NOT vote for Sanders and they’ll just screw him anyway. So, clearly you neither need nor want our support, so remember that before even thinking about running your cowardly mouth. Clearly, you don’t want any real change in the US. You’ll push for yesterday’s news while risking 4 more of trump. That’s on YOU fuckwits; not us. Take some goddamn responsibility for once; your GOP is showing out of your fly. You may want to zip up.
When the General Election comes, I’ll be voting for actual CHANGE. If it’s not on the ballot, then there’s fuck-all for me to vote for, is there..?
Lastly, for all the shit-talk people like to throw around about ‘unity’ and ‘vote blue no matter who’ and how anyone disagreeing with anti-Sanders snowflakes because “Boo-hoo! Someone was mean to me on the internet!”, y’all can pucker up and suck my ass. You’re uneducated, toothless bullshit has revealed that you “Biden Bros” are every bit as mean; the difference being that MY team wants change and to save us ALL. Your team is in it only to save your own asses, and you don’t realize that the people you’re trying to save it from is yourselves.
So, to conclude, if you’re pushing for Biden and not Sanders, you can go get fucked. I’ll be standing by watching it all Bern to the ground while YOU are the ones actually stoking the fires higher. God, you people are weak, stupid, and chicken-shit.

Mini Fanfic #261: Kids React to a Bunch of Adults Losing in a Golf Game (Super Smash Bros Ultimate)
Mario
Mario: (Runs Around while Crying on screen)
Ness: You know....It kind of baffles me to see Mario act like a sore loser in this...
Lucas: Yeah....and I always thought he would be humble in these kind of sport games.
Ashley: (Shrugged) I guess even heroes can have their moments of poor sportsmanship.
Bowser Jr: (Smirking at Mario's Misery) ('Heh') This is pretty hilarious to me.
Popo: (Rolled his Eyes) Of course you would find something like this funny....
Bowser Jr: Well, no duh! The plumber's our dad's arch enemy. Watching him fail is like watching a cool scene in an action movie. (Smirks) It's always satisfying to watch.
Nana: Right........
Luigi
Luigi: (On the Screen) I'm a loser.....
Bowser Jr: (Smirks) That you are, Green Loser.
Ness: (Glares at Jr.) He's not a loser, Junior.
Nana: Yeah! Luigi's cool!
Toon: Respect the Green Plumber, Yo!
Bowser Jr: Alright fiiiiine....I won't make fun of everyone's (In a mocking manner) precious Green Boi or whatever....
Ness: ('Sigh') Just don't let Daisy hear you insulted Luigi like that, alright?
Meanwhile.....
Daisy: (Immediately Paused her Cuddle Time with Luigi and place her hand on top of her head)
Luigi: (Starting to worry) What's wrong, Daisy?
Daisy: I'm not sure, Sweetie....But I could've sworn I heard a disturbance a second ago.......(Shrugged) Eh. I'm sure it was nothing. Let's get back to cuddling!
Luigi: Okay.
Peach
Peach: (Feeling Dizzy while Fainting on screen)
Ness: You know....this might be the most normal losing reaction we seen so far. Even if see her faint like that is kind of unnecessary.....
Ashley: Well she is the princess. She could only do much when it comes to losing a simple game of golf.....
Daisy
Daisy: (On Screen) Nononono you CLOUT!
Ness: ........Yeah. I could totally see Daisy acting like this in real life.
Rest of the kids: (Agrees to this as well)
Yoshi
Yoshi: (Fell Down from Dizziness while feeling sad on screen)
Nana: (Feels Completely Bad for the green dinosaur) Aww....even when he's sad, he's adorable....
Lucas: (Feels Bad as well) Yeah....I wanna hug him and tell him that it's okay....
Ashley: (Place a hand on Lucas' Shoulder Reassuringly)
Dark Pit: (From a Distance) (Laughing)
Yoshi: (From a Distance) What's so funny?!
Dark Pit: (From a Distance) Your shirt!
Yoshi: (Yells in Frustration From a Distance)
Koopa Troopa
Koopa Troopa: (Hides in his she'll in shame on screen)
Ness: Another Normal Reaction....For the Koopas anyway.....
Diddy: (Turns to Jr.) Did you or any of your family ever hide in your shells before?
Bowser Jr: Nah. We're too proud to hide like cowards.... Except for Morton, but it's whatever.
Donkey Kong
DK: (Throws a Random Barrel and Starts Slamming on the ground in Anger)
Toon: (Eyes Widened) Well.......It looks like someone certainly hates losing.....
Ness: (Turns to Diddy) Does he always act like this when he lose?
Diddy: Yep. But only in sport games, though. I think he got that from Cranky...
Ness: Maybe.....
Diddy Kong
Diddy: (Jumping Around in anger and going Ballistic on screen)
Toon: (Eyes Widened) Wow.....And here I thought DK had a bad temper......
Popo: (Turns to Diddy) What happened there, Diddy?
Nana: Yeah? How were you able to react to losing worse than Donkey Kong?
Diddy: (Starts Blushing) I-I was just going through a faze at the time. (Crosses his arms) And besides, I've matured since then.
Bowser Jr: I doubt that....
Wario
Wario: (Throws a Giant Boulder before rage quitting on screen)
Ashley: (Rolled her eyes) Leave it to Wario to act like a real sore loser in a sports game.
Lucas: Where did he even gets that giant boulder from anyways?
Ashley: Your guess is as good as mines, Lucas.
Suddenly that same boulder was thrown back at Wario's head, instantly making him into a tiny squished version of himself.
Ness: Oooh.... That's gotta leave a huge mark. I'm surprised he even survived from that alone.....
Ashley: (Turns Away while Scoffing) Well that's what he gets for throwing a random boulder like a childish maniac instead of accepting one simple loss like a normal human being....
Lucas: (Turns to Ashley in worry) Ashley, are you okay?
Ashley: (Gently Holds Lucas' hand while giving him a Small Smile) I'm okay, Lucas. I was just rambling is all.
Lucas: Okay..... F-Feel free to come to me if you need someone to talk to, okay?
Ashley: (Smiles Softly) I will. I promise. (Gives Lucas a peck on the cheek) Thank you.
Lucas: (Starts Blushing like Crazy)
Ashley: (Silently Giggles at how adorable her boyfriend is being right now)
Nana: (Gushes on her two friends) Awww~
Bowser Jr: (Rolled his eyes) Oh Barf....
Waluigi
Waluigi: (Starts Dramatically Making a Scene on screen)
Bowser Jr: ('Tch') Drama Queen......
Diddy: I guarantee you that this is exactly how he acted when he didn't get into Smash Bros.....
Other Kids: (Agrees to this As Well)
Birdo
Birdo: (Stomping Around in Distress on Screen)
Toon: (Whispers to Ness) So....is Birdo's really a girl or....
Ness: I have no idea, man......
Bowser
Bowser: (Got on his knees and starts Beating the ground in defeat on screen)
Ness: See? Even your dad is taking losing too seriously, Junior.
Bowser Jr: Yeah....Dad is the type of Koopa who doesn't like losing all that well.....
Lucas: Even to Mario?
Bowser Jr: Especially to Mario.
Bowser Jr.
Bowser Jr: (Starts Crying like a toddler on screen)
Toon: (Snickering) Wow, Junior. Didn't expect you to cry like that over a little golf game.
Diddy: (Starts Smirking) Wonder where you got THAT from?
Bowser Jr: (Starts Blushing Furiously) Oh shut up! I don't always act like that.
Ludwig: (Walking by) On the contrary, little brother, you always act this way. Even in public.....
Bowser Jr: (Blushes even Harder in anger) No one asked you, Luddy!! (Went back to pouting so more)
Ness: (I think he rest his case on this one.......)
Boo
Boo: (Rolling on the ground in Despair on screen)
Lucas: Does anyone find it weird that this Boo didn't get himself killed under the sunlight?
Bowser Jr: Lucas, they're Boos. They can withstand anything..... Somehow....
Shadow Mario
Shadow Mario: (Trips Down and Just Sat There while Feeling Annoyed on Screen)
Ness: Okay. So this is something I don't get. Junior, If you were in this game as well and you still got that Paint Brush to this day, who was orchestrating as Shadow Mario this entire time?
Bowser Jr: (Shrugged) I'm just as lose as you are, man. The moment the tournament was over, all I saw was E. Gadd's Paint Brush laying on the floor that day.
Toon: Speaking of which....Why did the Professor gave you that Paint Brush in the first place? Wasn't he suppose to be on Mario's side?
Bowser Jr: Honestly.....I have no idea. I don't even think Dad knew at the time he got it for me.
Ness: Hey.....you don't think he's actually been some evil scientist this entire time.....do you?.....
Bowser Jr: ..................Nah. It's probably just a coincidence or something.
Ness: (Felt Unsure about that answer) ......
Petey Piranha
Petey: (Starts Puking out Gop like mud before falling down on screen)
Kids: Ewwwwww!!
Bowser Jr: Oh relax, you babies! It's only mud.........I think.....
Ashley: (Unimpressed) Regardless, it's disgusting. Moving on.
Reaction Over
Ness: Okay so....I think I can speak for everyone when I say that (Turns at Diddy Kong and Bowser Jr) You guys.... take losing wayyy too seriously.
Diddy: Yeah....I won't deny that at least....
Bowser Jr: (Shrugged) We were acting like kids back there....I mean...Me and Diddy ARE kids, so there's some excuse for us....But i don't know what was with those adults during that time. And on a simple Golf game nonetheless....
Ashley: I think it's might be for the best to not think too much of their nonsense for the time being.
Everyone Else: Agreed.

Inferior cowards who tries to dominate women are not a man at all, he's just a damn religious fanatic who tries to fool the world he's a good guy. This is the history of people who invaded our Black Indigenous lands globally and yet get elected to write laws to protect himself and hoping he finds women who are so damaged that looks up to him and joins his party.
This is rinse and repeat in regards to European colonizers who claims they discovered something where people already lived before him. The Republican party are weak minded men who believe in white supremacy and women subjugation.
Some on the left tries to do right but will not address that race is a social construct and still believe in the same christian God that the right believes in too. The GOP are a bunch of lunatics and cowards who is ready to do the same as the Jim Crow Laws did which is to keep injustices alive and to keep Black Indigenous People in their place.
I'm not a part of either party but I will never vote for any republican ever again and my warning to the Democratic Party you better clean up your act and stop systematically siding with your so call white people because we are tired of you too.
Just because you are a Democrat don't mean you don't hold on to the views of the colonizers and white supremacy, you just hide it better. Please remember you are our only option for now and we don't mind putting you in your place because we are tired of all people who calls themselves white no matter what side you stand on, left or right.

All you need to know about the trial is that the GOP is a bunch of cowards and many of them are probably involved one way or another in trying to rig the election. It’s beyond disgusting.

Republicans Cross the Rubicon Into Full Blown Treason Because There’s Nothing to Stop Them.

According to Wikipedia, the textbook definition of “Treason” is criminal disloyalty to the State.  Treason, by definition, does not need to be aiding a foreign power with information that would be detrimental to our national security - although there’s plenty of evidence of that, too.  There’s treason happening in front of our eyes and ears on a daily basis.  For years now.
If you swear an oath to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States, and, with each subsequent breath, spend every waking moment either looking the other way while others seek to undermine every principle contained within that document, or worse, play an active role in obstructing those seeking to uphold those principles, is that not treason?  Is that not a blatant disregard of your sworn duties?  Shouldn’t the punishment for our highest elected officials who knowingly and willfully violate their oaths of office, to such an obscene extreme, be something other than free healthcare for life and a golden parachute?
Every Republican lawmaker currently in office who fits the above description needs to be held accountable for their betrayal of their oath to defend the Constitution. Otherwise, what’s the point of any of this?  And why isn’t there any remedy in our founding document calling for criminal penalties for those found guilty of violating their official duties?  There’s penalties in almost every other area of our society for betraying your official duty, i.e. if you’re a cop and you violate your oath to serve and protect, you’re terminated almost immediately - sometimes, even imprisoned.  Why shouldn’t our top lawmakers be held to the same, if not higher, standards? If you said, it’s because they write the laws that govern them, you’d be correct.
The Constitution is not up for debate.  You’re not allowed to decide which side of it you come down on.  Any elected official, Republican or Democrat, who bases his/her willingness to uphold their oath to defend the Constitution on the shameless, self-serving position of whether or not he/she is up for re-election, should be stripped of their citizenship and shipped off to a Siberian prison, last week.  However, if that were the case, McConnell, Gaetz, McCarthy, Graham, Nunes, Meadows, Collins, Jordan, etc. would be on their fortieth case of hand warmers by now.
Not for nothing, but the fact that, in close to two and a half centuries, Mitt Romney became the first Senator to vote to remove a president from his/her party in the history of our Democracy, says something about our judgement as a nation with regards to the leaders we elect to govern us.
Republicans swore an oath to defend and protect the principles contained in that document - be it convenient or inconvenient - and by pretending the facts are not real, or they’re all a smoke screen by the “Deep State Conspiracy,” you’re not only making yourselves out to be pathetic fools, you're betraying your country with every passing second.  And for what?  To defend the self-serving criminal acts of an ignorant, sociopathic, misogynistic, megalomaniacal reality TV has-been?  One who would happily throw you, your constituents, and the rest of us under the bus in the blink of an eye without a second thought if it meant saving himself?
Is this the way Republicans want to be remembered by their grandkids?  A cult-like mob of spineless cowards, happily ready to abandon their oaths in blind servitude to a hapless Russian asset?  The GOP have made it clear, they are more interested in avoiding a “mean tweet” from the orange emperor, than upholding the Laws of the land they swore to defend.
And what will happen to them for this utter betrayal?  After working tirelessly, day in, day out, to weaken the fabric of our Democracy, after choosing a “scorched earth” policy rather than let the Dems get the “upper hand,” will these deplorable traitors be held accountable?  Will they be put on trial, themselves?  Nope.  Nada.  There simply doesn’t seem to be any remedy in The Constitution for this kind of brazen betrayal on such a grand scale.  The House can’t even enforce a subpoena, as they know the president’s ‘human bidet”, bloated sycophant William Barr, would laugh in their faces.
Ask the German People what happened when their Parliament caved to the whims of an unhinged lunatic.  If you think it can’t happen again, you must’ve missed the DOJ memo immediately following Trump’s acquittal addressed to every State AG, forbidding them to open ANY investigation into presidential candidates w/out his sole approval.
After all this - after disgracing the memory of every soldier who fought to defend the principles held within the document these traitors chose to use as toilet paper, after ignoring the most crushing/damning evidence ever put forth against a president in history; after turning a political no-brainer into a three-ring circus, the epic cowards who make up the House and Senate will simply sail off into the sunset, unscathed, with the aforementioned golden parachute of free healthcare for life and full pensions all around - on us.  A nice reward for playing a starring role in the destruction of the institutions they’re entrusted with protecting.
FYI, those of us out there still relying on the theory of ‘voting them out,” it’s time to get with the program.  Even if we succeed in ousting some of these miscreants, we won’t accomplish anywhere near the amount needed to restore decorum/sanity to our State/Federal offices- nor is voting them out enough; considering the level and extent of such an egregious abandonment of duty.  Letting these cockroaches off the hook simply by voting them out is like asking the Manson family to move.
Not to mention, after appointing an illegitimate, sex-assaulting SCOTUS judge, after blocking bills to protect us from election interference, and now the crowning of their idiot King, there’s no way in Hell we will see a fair and balanced election.  Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to have their heads examined. Get ready for election interference the likes of which we’ve never seen; i.e., rampant voter fraud, voter suppression, gerrymandering, ballot stuffing, ballot losing, ballot fixing, voting machine tampering, misinformation, disinformation, help from foreign governments, etc. etc. etc.
For a bunch of self-professed “truth seekers,” and “Defenders of the Realm” Republicans sure have hitched their wagon to the wrong horse.  Not only do they not see the storm brewing on the horizon, but if you’re going to hang your reputations, and what’s left of your honor, out to dry, as well as decimate your centuries-old party for generations to come, at least do it with a POTUS who has a modicum of class, dignity, and Statesmanship.  Not the Chernobyl of American Democracy.
As crazy as it may be, as we speak, Republicans continue to try and get the American People to believe that every witness who’s testified to date is a liar, and the only one we can trust is a lying, thieving, charity-bilking, bank-swindling, tax-cheating, draft-dodging, environment-killing, Justice-obstructing, pornstar-bribing, student-defrauding, Russia-colluding, war-mongering, pussy-grabbing, megalomaniacal sociopath.
Sad as it is to look back on this inexplicably insane shit show, was it that hard to predict a lifelong grifter who defrauded banks, partners, wives, mistresses, cities and students out of billions, who bribed porn stars then lied about it, who happily abandoned our sworn allies in the Middle East after just a five minute phone call; is it that hard to imagine this shameless putz would do the same to the nation he swore to protect and defend?
If there’s one thing Republicans will never be accused of, it’s good judgement.  They’re so blind with hatred for the left, they’d rather see their kids grow up speaking Russian and their country torn apart than admit their boy is a colossal failure. That would require character.  Something only Mitt Romney appears to possess.
The president of the United States abused the power of his office and attempted to leverage a foreign government’s congressionally approved aid in exchange for dirt on his political rival.  Yet, in spite of the truckload of evidence, “Moscow” Mitch McConnell just etched in stone why he is the worst Senator in American history, by a landslide.  No doubt he’s earned a spot in Letterman's top ten of the Worst Americans of All-Time, as well.  Yet, ask yourself, with things being as they are, i.e., no legal consequences for their actions, why would any of these low-lifes feel the sudden urge to break precedent and, for once, uphold his/her vow?  After all, who’s afraid of a golden parachute?
Raise your hand if you’ll vote for the first candidate who makes prosecuting these cockroaches their first official act of office.

Another shooting. So many young lives lost.
And there will be the usual thoughts and prayers thrown around as usual and frankly it is is bullshit. And has been for over 20 years. Since columbine, we have had too many mass shootings to count and have thoughts and prayers done anything each time ? No it hasn’t.
To the GOP senators who are expressing their condolences like they do with every mass shooting, just start saying you don’t care. Because your inaction every shooting shows that you do not care. so unless you are going to express sympathy for the victims and their families and also make actual changes with legislation , then shut the fuck up.
You don’t get to say you are pro life if you continue to sit by and do nothing while hundreds of lives are lost every single year in mass shootings.
And things can be done, they just won’t do it
-They can ban books to “protect children”
- They can ban an accurate account of history to “protect children”
- they can pass laws to prohibit children from receiving gender affirming care to “protect children”
- they can pass laws taking away a women’s right to abortion on the basis of “protecting the unborn” and “protecting life”
… but when actual people are being harmed, when CHILDREN are being gunned down in school, they can’t do anything to stop it?
To the republicans in congress, you are not pro life and you don’t get to claim you are when you see mass murder time and time again and still refuse to do anything to stop it.
… What you are is a bunch of cowards with blood on your hands and on the husk of coal you call hearts

Okay I keep seeing this and obviously I’m pissed that Trump got acquitted but like, yeah “innocent until proven guilty” is a foundational concept for the American justice system (which, yes, is flawed). The problem is the GOP being a bunch of amoral cowards, not the idea that innocence should be the default assumption unless proven otherwise.
